TOPP Protected
Total Payment Protection Policy (topp) is an insurance policy that your travel organiser has arranged to protect monies that you have paid them in relation to your holiday. What it means is that in the event of the travel organiser’s failure before you travel you will be refunded your money.
If you are already away on holiday and the travel organiser cannot continue with its obligations, arrangements will be made to ensure you can either continue with your holiday or you will be refunded for any holiday you have been unable to complete. If your holiday arrangements included return transport back to your home country, then alterative arrangements will be made to return you to your home country.
In order to make sure your booking is protected, you must check your travel organiser’s website and booking form and invoice for the topp logo and wording setting out what cover is in place. You can ask your travel organiser for a copy of the full policy wording.
